Evolving thousands of years ago in caves on the ancient island of Oristoliana, fractOWLS have for centuries been the guiding light for many in their wisdom and stature.

They are thought to have skilfully survived many great catastrophes before becoming the beautiful creatures we see now.

Since the initial discovery in 2001 of the first of the species, Rubius, each subsequent year has brought a new fractOWL and this year, 2013, has seen the birth of Onyx.
